Hot and not sweaty

I've been banished to the house for the day. This is a double shame because there is something in the house that makes me sneeze and feel ill, but mostly because this is the first time in about two years when I have enough energy to do stuff outside. The thing is, I'm not sweating. Not only that, I don't know what temperature I am. Put this together with real summer weather (over 28 C the last week) and I over heat without noticing. Who would have thought that sweat could be anything other than annoying?

Whatever it is in the house that is causing my sneezing has zapped my energy. About the only thing I want to do is iron, but I'm told I'm not allowed to do that either. This is very frustrating.

I do have some internet work that needs doing: I want to start chronicling our adventures on the farm. I would rather be outside pottering at things, but until my internal temperature control decides to work again, I'm stuck inside.

Oh, it's so sad that your internal temp control decided to stop working and that it means you have to stay inside... I hope it will fix itself promptly.
Also: yay for the farm blog!

I don't know if it's relevant - I'm middle aged but not ill - but my temperature control goes out the window if I am even a little bit dehydrated. In this heat are you drinking enough water?
