Positive support
The first bit of news is that the good people at Knotty by Nature have offered a venue and a knitting teacher/mentor for those interested in a Lyme support group. The teacher wouldn't be all the time, just the first few meetings, but it would be free to all who are interested. It doesn't have to be just knitting either. There are all sorts of hand crafts that one could learn how to do. There might even be tea.
As I mentioned before, I would love to be a part of a group of people who have Lyme or know someone with the illness and get together once a week for a few hours to play with yarn. I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to develop a support group around a positive activity.
I would love to hear from anyone interested in participating.
The second bit of news is that I'm frustrated at how slowly I am recovering from my recent setback. But at least I'm getting lots of tatting done. That's something I suppose. A support group would be a great help right now.
Oh, and before I forget to tell you again, this is VERY good. Way to go Nicole!

I hope some lovely people will answer your call, and you'll soon be able to form the nice support group you'd like to have. I wish I could be a part of it!
I also hope you'll feel better soon.
{hugs}
